Organised by Aksaray University (ASU) Faculty of Communication and aiming to immortalise the unique beauties of the campus, the ‘ASU from My Frame’ themed Photo Marathon event brought together photography enthusiasts and created a feast atmosphere with a much higher participation than expected. ASU Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Yavuz Selim Çakmak, Prof. Dr. Erşan Sever and Dean of the Faculty of Communication Prof. Dr. Ercan Aktan also participated in the event, which started at 11:00 on Tuesday, 29 April.

Dean of the Faculty of Communication Prof. Dr. Ercan Aktan expressed his satisfaction with the intense interest in the event and stated that the students' interest in both art and photography is admirable. Prof. Dr. Yavuz Selim Çakmak and Prof. Dr. Erşan Sever emphasised the importance of such activities that encourage their creativity.

The ‘ASU from My Frame’ Photomarathon, which will be awarded 750 TL for the first prize, 500 TL for the second prize and 250 TL for the third prize as a result of the evaluation to be made by the jury, aims to be remembered as a valuable event that enables students to look at the campus with a different perspective and supports their artistic expression.
